Get Involved

If you’re looking for an opportunity to grow your business network, to support and advocate for the LGBTQ+ community, or just want to volunteer with other members of your community, we’ve got great opportunities to get involved. As a member, you can attend mixers, events and education sessions, many at no cost to you.

Want more?

You can volunteer to help guide the chamber by joining one of our Chamber committees. Here’s a chance to share your knowledge and skills and make a difference helping others!

Help welcome new members to the Chamber and represent the Chamber at business networking events throughout the Bay Area.

Member education is a major part of the Chamber’s mission. If you have knowledge and expertise you’d like to share, or want to learn more yourself, the Education committee is a great place to make a significant positive impact on Chamber offerings.

Every year we offer a wide variety of events that encourage community outreach, in-person and online business networking and more. These include:

  • Silicon Valley/SF Bay Area Pride Parades and Celebrations
  • CONNECT: An event bringing together elected officials, corporations, LGBTQ+ employee resource groups, non-profit organizations, LGBTQ+ owned businesses, and allies, for a unique networking opportunity.
  • NGLCC International Business & Leadership Conference

Our goal is to make sure everyone who is a member of the LGBTQ+ community, and our allies, know about the benefits of joining an active, diverse business network. Here’s your chance to help us tell our story.

Helping others understand the benefits of all the Rainbow Chamber offers and helping them understand the benefits of membership is rewarding, both for you and for their business. If you enjoy learning about other business owners, learning more about the LGBTQ+ community, and opening doors for others’ success, this committee is perfect for you.

The Chamber monitors and communicates news, policies and advocacy opportunities to help keep our community safe and prosperous. The Public Policy Committee of RCCSV actively collaborates with the National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC), the Silicon Valley Coalition of Chambers, the Western Business Alliance (WBA), the Billy DeFrank LGBTQ+ Community Center, BAYMEC and other local community organizations to learn about and advocate for issues of interest for our membership and the LGBTQ+ community-at-large and share those learnings with the Board and membership.
