Candelario Franco

Candelario Franco serves Project Manager for The Health Trust Getting To Zero initiative for Santa Clara County-Silicon Valley -the county wide initiative aims to eradicate HIIV/AIDS in our county; Zero Stigma, Zero New HIV infections and Zero Deaths related to HIV/AIDS.

He is a member of the HIV Planning Council, has deep ties in Latino and LGBTQ communities in Santa Clara County and the surrounding area, and has experience in advocacy, community organization, grants management, and clinical care support.

Prior to joining the Health Trust, Candelario worked in making higher education accessible to low income first generation students from both East Side Union and San Jose Unified High School Districts as Director for both U.S Department of Education grant funded TRiO Programs Educational Talent Search and Upward Bound at The National Hispanic University in East San Jose.
